Unwind with Maluka Escape’s magical sunset/sunrise 3 hour cruise. The best hour of the day out here is the one most visitors spend in a pub on the main street or still asleep in their room. We would rather have you on the water for it. You pick the light. The sunset run pushes off from Thursday Island in the late afternoon and takes you out through the channels while it goes gold, then orange, then dark. The sunrise run leaves before first light and puts you out in the channels as the sun comes up over the islands, which is the quietest the Strait ever gets. There is a drink waiting for you when you step aboard and light nibbles once we are clear of the harbour. Anything else you feel like drinking, bring it with you and we will keep it cold.
